Rep. Gina Mosbrucker: 2021 session review – ‘A difficult and challenging session’

Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, R-Goldendale, looks back at the 2021 legislative session, which adjourned April 25 after 105 days, and says it was “difficult and challenging.” Mosbrucker says majority Democrats were able to pass a “Seattle-based agenda,” that included a capital gains income tax, a low-carbon fuel standard bill, cap and tax and police reform bills. Even so, two of Mosbrucker's bills made it to the governor for signature and she was able to secure two important provisos in the operating budget.
