Rep. Mosbrucker speaks on KIT about progress in the 2022 session

Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, R-Goldendale, speaks on KIT about the progression of her bills in the 2022 session and the restrictions on the lawmaker's participation.

Rep. Mosbrucker has several of bills going through committees this session, including House Bill 1571 which would add protections for Native Americans to pray over deceased persons found at a crime scene before the body is moved.

House Bill 1497 (Dad's Bill) would limit the time of day when solicitors may call houses and prevent them from calling in the middle of the night or early in the morning.

The Safe Washington plan which includes House Bill 1310, and 1054, which would restore the tools police officers need to perform their duties.

Rep. Mosbrucker also hopes to address State v. Blake, which in her opinion is more harmful to people with mental illness or drug addiction because Washington does do not have the infrastructure in place to support these people.
