About Rep. Gina Mosbrucker
Gina is a fifth-generation resident of Klickitat County, and the first person elected to the state Legislature from Klickitat County since 1982.
She graduated from Goldendale High School, received an associate degree from Clark College and a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. She also studied at Concord University School of Law and is a certified hotel administrator from the Education Institute. Gina also attended Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government in July 2018, earning certification in Senior Executives in State and Local Government.
Gina has owned and operated various small businesses for more than 25 years, including an eight-time, gold award-winning hotel and a youth performing arts studio. She is currently the CEO and general manager of Quality Inn & Suites Hotel in Goldendale. She opened Touch of Class Studio at age 16, which has taught ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, gymnastics, cheerleading, Zumba, personal fitness training and martial arts. Gina has volunteered for organizations such as the American Lung Association, Heart Association and Cancer Relay for Life.
As a small business owner, Gina has focused some of her legislative work on helping businesses thrive. She is concerned about burdensome government regulations and how they directly affect an employer's ability to create and keep jobs. Gina would like to see businesses receive the support and incentives necessary to drive the economy and create more job opportunities for the people in Washington state.
In the Legislature, Gina serves in leadership positions, including House minority vice-caucus chair and ranking Republican on the House Labor and Workplace Standards Committee. She also serves on the Appropriations Committee and the State Government and Tribal Relations Committee.
She loves running, traveling, teaching performing arts to children, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
